Step 4 of 8 — Our Approach

Targeted Pest Treatment Program

We don't blanket-spray your premises. We apply targeted treatments to the specific zones of pest activity — using the right product, at the right time, in the right areas — to maximise effectiveness while minimising chemical use and disruption.

Overview

Treatment program

The treatment program is where the IPM plan is put into action. Based on the inspection and risk assessment, we design a targeted treatment program that addresses the specific pests in the specific areas where they're active. This isn't a one-size-fits-all spray of the entire building — it's a precise, documented treatment plan that uses professional-grade products strategically, applied by experienced, licensed technicians who understand how to get the best results with the least chemical.

What we treat

Treatment is targeted to the zones of confirmed or high-risk pest activity identified during inspection. This might include crack and crevice treatments in kitchens, gel baiting in food storage areas, perimeter barrier treatments around the building exterior, void treatments in wall cavities and roof spaces, drain treatments for cockroach harbourage, and spot treatments for nesting sites. We never apply chemical where it isn't needed — and we always advise on any re-entry times before treatment begins.

Why targeted treatment matters

Blanket spraying uses more chemical than necessary, provides shorter-lasting results, and can create resistance in pest populations. Targeted treatment is different. By applying product only where pests are active — and choosing the right product formulation for the specific pest and environment — we achieve better control with less chemical, less risk of resistance, and less disruption to your operations. It's better for your staff, your customers, and the environment.

How we treat

Our treatments are applied by licensed, experienced technicians using professional-grade products. We select the product formulation (gel, liquid, dust, aerosol, bait station) based on the pest species, the treatment environment, and the safety requirements of your premises. We work around your operating hours — before opening, after closing, or during low-traffic periods — to minimise disruption. We advise on any re-entry times and safety precautions before every treatment.

What you receive

Every treatment is documented with the products used (including APVMA registration numbers), active ingredients, application rates, areas treated, and any safety precautions or re-entry requirements. This documentation is included in your site attendance report after every visit — audit-ready records that demonstrate a professional, compliant approach to pest treatment on your premises.

FAQ

Treatment program — your questions answered

Are the treatments safe for my staff and customers?+

Yes. We use professional-grade products applied by licensed technicians according to label directions. We advise on any re-entry times before treatment, and we schedule treatments around your operating hours to minimise exposure. If you have specific safety concerns — sensitive staff, food preparation areas, healthcare settings — we'll discuss the appropriate products and application methods.

How long do treatments take to work?+

It depends on the pest and the treatment method. Some treatments (like surface sprays for crawling insects) provide immediate knockdown. Others (like gel baiting for cockroaches) work over several days as the pests carry the bait back to the nest. We'll advise on expected timelines and what to expect after each treatment.

Do I need to leave my premises during treatment?+

In most cases, no. We can treat specific areas while the rest of your premises remains operational. For some treatments, we may advise on short re-entry periods for specific areas. We'll always discuss this with you before treatment and schedule around your operations.

What products do you use?+

We use professional-grade, APVMA-registered products. The specific products depend on the pest, the environment, and the treatment method. We're happy to provide product information, active ingredients, and safety data sheets — and all product details are documented in your site attendance report after every visit.
